Receiving Operator

Primary role is to receive raw materials while maintaining a safe, clean work environment.


·        Receive and sample raw materials.

·        Perform quality testing.

·        Maintain good housekeeping and clean-up of equipment, supplies and work areas.

·        Maintain proper documentation in all formats of recordkeeping

·        Adhere to all aspects of company and customer safety, sanitation and site policies.

·        Assist with the training of new employees

·        Provide assistance to the maintenance personnel, when needed form machine repairs or troubleshooting

·        Adhere to all Quality and Food Safety policies and procedures, report any nonconformity

·        Adheres to all Safety policies and procedures, report any nonconformity

·        Adheres to all GMP policies and procedures, report any nonconformity

·        Perform other tasks and duties as assigned


·        Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

·        Ability to adapt effectively within a continually changing and demanding environment

·        Basic understanding of equipment operations and minor troubleshooting ability

·        Must be able to demonstrate an ability and willingness to communicate effectively in order to maintain high levels of safety, quality and efficiency

·        Ability to read and comprehend standard operation procedures and company guidelines

·        Ability to understand daily production needs

·        Participation in a team environment safely

·        Must be able to lift up to 50lbs frequently, 75lbs occasionally

·        Ability to walk and stand for 90% of shift

·        Forklift experience desired

·        Must pass a pre-employment physical, nationwide background check and post-offer, pre-employment drug screen.


·        Rotating schedule: 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off; 5am-5pm

·        Includes weekends and holidays

·        Time and a half for overtime and double time for Sunday
